Origins

In 1984, coinciding with an invitation from the then developer and construction company of Puerto de la Duquesa, which was promoting the la Duquesa port between hoteliers and restaurateurs in northern Italy, this enterprising family decided to venture into a new project after having visited and being enchanted by the magic of this corner of the Costa del Sol, opening in May 1985 the Parapiros Restaurant at el Puerto de la Duquesa (Manilva).
Parapiro’s Restaurant, is specialized in authentic traditional Italian cuisine, was founded in 1985 by Piero Panteghini who after a long hospitality and hotel career in his native Italy, –which began at a young age in restaurants and hotels in Bergamo belonging to his uncle- then centered his career working with the most prestigious Italian hotels, restaurants and catering. Finally following his vocation, he was introduced to the exciting world of gastronomy where he learned masterfully to merge experience, devotion and originality, obtaining as a result the wide variety of delicious dishes of our menu.

Parapiro´s Restaurant is the place where you can taste the most authentic Italian cuisine, which includes many antipasti, fresh pastas, creamy risottos, wood-fired pizzas, tasty meats and fish, delicious homemade desserts and sweet crepes and always accompanied by selected Italian-Spanish wines.
